ROSS Synergy Sdn Bhd, together with its partner Kenyalang Integrity Services Sdn Bhd, recently sent personnel from their LCOT team to participate in the two-day Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Awareness Day 2026 held in Miri, Sarawak.
Hosted by PETRONAS, the programme was designed for Third-Party Service Providers (TPSPs), with the objective of fostering a stronger safety culture, enhancing participants’ understanding of human performance, and promoting better alignment between service providers and clients in terms of workplace culture, expectations and practices.Through its participation, ROSS Synergy demonstrates its continued commitment to supporting client-led initiatives while strengthening the knowledge, competencies and capabilities of its personnel through continuous learning and investment in human capital development.
HPI is about understanding why people make mistakes, learning from those mistakes, and continuously improving the systems and working environments in which people operate. It combines an understanding of human behaviour with effective safety controls, strong leadership and individual accountability. Importantly, HPI does not mean accepting unsafe behaviour or compromising compliance with established procedures. Instead, it encourages a proactive approach to identifying risks, learning from experiences and strengthening safety practices to prevent incidents and improve overall operational performance.
